In past years, this has regularly included a well dressing; however, at the time of writing, it appears that in 2009 the Trail may not include the Bolehill area, in which case there will be no well dressing. Further clarification is awaited.

This event has taken place regularly in recent years and is expected to do so again in 2009.
Possible event from around September 12 Longnor
This event took place regularly until 2007 when it was announced that it would be discontinued. However, in the event, a Well Dressing did appear in 2008. At the time of writing, it is not known whether there will be a repeat event in 2009.
Probable event from about December 12 Buxworth (winter)
This event has taken place regularly in recent years; it is hoped that it will do so again in 2009.
