Four:

• Main Well Dressing on The Green in front of St Michael’s Church

The remaining Well Dressings are arranged around the Green and in the Churchyard.
In 2009, there was also a small Well Dressing inside the Church as part of one of the Flower Festival arrangements.

How to get there

Pleasley is located on the A617 Mansfield to Chesterfield road. St Michael’s Church is on the opposite side of the A617 from the village.

CAR: from the large roundabout on the A617 take the B6407 Shirebrook road. Then take the first turning on the right, and the first turning on the right again to reach the Church. If there is insufficient space near the Church, park on Outgang Lane.

This is a convenient nearby postcode that can be entered into your car’s satnav. It is not necessarily the postcode where the dressings are located

BUS: in Pleasley Village (use the footbridge on Church Lane to cross the A617): Mondays to Saturdays: frequent from Mansfield; every ½ hour from Chesterfield, Nottingham and Langwith; hourly from Sheffield and Meadowhall. Sundays: at least 1 per hour from Mansfield; hourly from Chesterfield and Nottingham; every 2 hours from Langwith, Sheffield and Meadowhall.
