How to get there

Tintwistle is located on the A628 about 2.5km east of its junction with the A57 Sheffield to Manchester road at Hollingworth.

CAR: it is usually possible to park on Old Road near the Well Dressing.

BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: 2 per hour from Glossop and Hadfield; hourly from Manchester and Hyde. Sundays: hourly from Glossop, Hadfield and Manchester.
