Well Dressings

Six:

• Christ Church Well Dressing outside the Church, on the A615 on the Alfreton side of the village
• Three Horseshoes Well Dressing outside the Three Horseshoes pub
• Horse & Jockey Well Dressing in the car park of the Horse & Jockey pub
• Tea Well
• Moses Well
• Coronation Well

The latter 3 Wells are on the Common, on the opposite side of the main road from the Church and pubs. Consult the maps posted locally and follow the signs on the Common. Ground may be unsuitable for people who have difficulty with walking.

How to get there

Wessington is located on the A615 Matlock to Alfreton road.

CAR: At busy times, a free car park is provided in a field opposite Holy Trinity Church. At other times, park on the side roads of the village, not on the main road.

BUS: Mondays to Saturday, mornings and afternoons: every 2 hours from Matlock and Alfreton, with some journeys extended to Old Tupton. Evenings and Sundays: no service.
