How to get there

West Hallam is located just off the A609 between Smalley and Ilkeston, on the minor road from Oakwood to Ilkeston via Stanley.

CAR: during the Well Dressing festivities on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, The Village is closed to traffic and car parking is provided at the School. At other times, use the car park next to the shopping centre in The Village.

BUS: Every Day: at least 1 per hour from Derby and Ilkeston. Services may not call in the village during the Well Dressing festivities; in this event, nearest bus stop is at the White Hart pub (junction of Station road and Beech Lane).
