Shipley Country Park is located between Heanor, West Hallam and Ilkeston
CAR: car parks are located at Heanor Gate (signposted from A608 Heanor to Derby road) and at Mapperley Reservoir (signposted from Mapperley Village north of the A609 Ilkeston to Smalley Road). Disabled parking is available at the Derby Lodge Tea Rooms.
BUS: there are no regular bus services into the Country Park but buses serving West Hallam, Heanor and Shipley pass nearby.

during the day on buses (and in some cases trains) in the relevant
