• All Saints RC Church Well Dressing against the wall of All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Church Street (do not confuse with All Saints C of E Parish Church, which is further east on Church Street).

How to get there

Glossop is located at the junction of the A57 with the A624. The B6105 Woodhead Road leads north from here; Church Street is on the east side of Woodhead Road.

CAR: It is usually possible to find a paking space on Church Street near the Well Dressings.

BUS: passing Church Street Mondays to Saturdays: frequent from Glossop town centre; hourly from Hazel Grove and Hyde. Sundays: no service. Alternatively at Glossop town centre (a little under 1km) Mondays to Saturdays: at least 3 per hour from Ashton, 2 per hour from Manchester (during peak hours and evenings Mondays to Fridays only), 2 per hour from Hyde, hourly from Hazel Grove and Buxton. Sundays: 2 per hour from Ashton, hourly from Manchester, Hyde and Buxton.
