How to get there

Millthorpe is located on the B6051 between Barlow and Owler Bar, at the junction with the minor road to Holmesfield.

CAR: it is usually possible to park in the layby on Holmesfield Lane, near the Well Dressing.

BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: every 2 hours from Chesterfield and Holmesfield. Sundays: 4 services per day from Chesterfield, Holmesfield and Bamford with some services continuing to / from Castleton.
