Varies from year to year. In 2026, there were seven:
1. Fountain Well Dressing near the Fountain at the junction of Yeoman Street and The Dale
2. St James’ Church Well Dressing on Church Street, just beyond the Church
3. Market Place Well in the village centre, opposite the Old Cross
4. Uppertown Lane Well on the north side of Uppertown Lane, near its highest point
5. Moor Lane Well at the junction of Moor Lane and Uppertown Lane, in Uppertown
6. Wesleyan Chapel Well Dressing outside the Chapel at the head of The Dale
7. Village Life Well Dressing in the garden of a house next to the Village Life Church on High Street
8. Clatterway Well Dressing
9. High Street Well
10. Town Head Well
11. The Dale Well
12. Nether Green Well Dressing
13. Yeoman Street Well

How to get there
Bonsall is located about 1km from the A5012 Via Gellia (the junction with the Via Gellia is about 1.5km from Cromford on the A6).
CAR: use DE4 2AA for satnav
There is usually no difficulty in parking in the village, but at busy times (particularly Saturday and Sunday afternoon) you may need to park some distance from the centre. If necessary, it is possible to drive between the Well Dressings, but this is not advisable at busy times.
BUS:Mondays to Saturdays: every hour from Matlock and Cromford; Sundays: no service.
