Note: Some of the dressings may be moved to the Vicarage Garden for display at the Fete on Saturday, 6 June, before being returned to Marcus Street.
Well Dressings
In 2026, there were 10 dressings, large and small:
1. Marcus Street Well a number of dressings at the well at the end of Marcus Street (take Old Chester Road from the junction of Alfreton Road and Mansfield Road next to the Coach and Horses pub. After about 50 yards, turn left along Centurion Walk).
2. Vicarage Garden Well

How to get there
Chester Green is located on Mansfield Road, Derby, about 1.5km north of the City Centre.
CAR: use DE1 3RP for satnav
There is a large, free public car park on City Road. Disabled badge holders may use the residents’ parking spaces on Old Chester Road DE1 3SA.
BUS:Mondays to Saturdays: frequent, Sundays: 2 or 3 per hour, from Derby City Centre.
CYCLE: the traffic-free National Cycle Network route 54 runs to the west of Chester Green.
