Harthill is located about 3km from the A618 Clowne to Killamarsh road and about 5km northeast of junction 30 of the M1.

Car parking is usually relatively easy in the village.

BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: at least 2 per hour from Rotherham and Killamarsh; hourly from Sheffield, Worksop and Crystal Peaks; every 2 hours from Dinnington. Sundays: at least 1 service per hour from Rotherham and Killamarsh. Hourly from Sheffield. Every 2 hours from Worksop and Crystal Peaks.
