It is usually reasonably easy to park on St Chad’s Road near the Church. Alternatively, if it is planned to spend some time in the City (a visit to the Cathedral is particularly recommended), park in the City Centre and take the pleasant walk alongside Stowe Pool.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: 4 per hour from Cannock; at least 2 per hour from Walsall and Stafford; hourly from Burton-upon-Trent; 5 services per day from Nuneaton; 4 services per day from Abbots Bromley; 3 services per day from Rugeley. Sundays: hourly from Stafford; every 2 hrs from Cannock.
TRAIN: at City station (near City Centre, about 1.5km from Well Dressing): Mondays to Saturdays: every 15 minutes from Birmingham and Longbridge; every ½ hour from Redditch. Sundays: every ½ hour from Birmingham, Longbridge and Redditch. At Trent Valley station (about 2km from Well Dressing): Mondays to Saturdays: local services at irregular intervals from Stafford, Nuneaton, Coventry and Rugby; infrequent through services from London, Preston and (except Saturdays) Liverpool. Sundays: no service. A service between the two stations operates Every Day, every ½ hour.
